These general terms define the rights and obligations of the parties for the remote booking of the accommodation offered on www.domainedesprepresses.fr. These are accommodation services provided on a set date or for a set period. Any booking implies full and unreserved acceptance of these terms. The client confirms they have the legal capacity to contract (legal age, not under guardianship).

Article 1The host

Depending on the property booked, the host is one of the following operators:

Article 2Booking

Bookings are made on the site, by phone or by email. A booking is effective only once guaranteed by the client (card imprint or deposit) and after a detailed confirmation has been received. The host reserves the right to refuse any booking with an invalid card or incomplete details. Payments are in euros. Cards accepted: Visa, Mastercard. The booking system is secure (SSL).

Article 3Payment

At booking, a bank-card imprint is recorded. The full amount of the stay is charged 30 days before the arrival date. For any booking made fewer than 30 days before arrival, the charge is taken at booking.

Payment methods: bank transfer, payment link, bank card, ANCV holiday vouchers (please ask).

Article 4Price

Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included, for the maximum capacity of each property. VAT not applicable. Cleaning is included in the price. Tourist tax, where applicable, is added and collected through the booking engine. Only the price stated in the booking confirmation is contractual.

Article 5Pre-authorisation and security deposit

A €400 guarantee is taken as a pre-authorisation on the card used for payment. The amount is held from the day of check-in for a period of 7 days. No charge is made in the absence of damage.

Article 6Cancellation

Any cancellation must be notified by email or phone and is effective only after written confirmation from the host. Except in cases of force majeure:

  • More than 30 days before arrival: full refund.
  • Between 7 and 30 days before arrival: 50% refund.
  • Fewer than 7 days before arrival: refund of the tourist tax only.

Article 7Changes and no-show

Dates may be changed subject to availability; a supplement may apply according to the rate for the period. Any change must be requested by email or phone and confirmed in writing by the host. Any stay that has begun is payable in full. In the event of a no-show, the stay remains payable in full.

Article 8Right of withdrawal

In accordance with article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation services provided on a set date or for a set period. The booking is firm once confirmed, subject to the cancellation terms in article 6.

Article 9Arrival and departure

  • Check-in: self check-in from 4 pm, by 7 pm at the latest (please let us know if arriving later).
  • Check-out: the property must be vacated by 10 am on the day of departure.

Article 10Liability and house rules

  • The premises, outbuildings and parking areas are not supervised or guarded: the host is not liable for the loss, theft or damage of personal items, luggage, valuables or vehicles.
  • The client uses the property, furniture and equipment with due care and is liable for any damage or loss during the stay.
  • Tourist use only: no commercial activity is permitted.
  • The property is returned clean; broken or damaged inventory items are charged at replacement value.
  • Respect for neighbours: no excessive noise. Amplified sound systems (DJ rigs, professional speakers) are not allowed. Firecrackers, fireworks and pyrotechnics are not allowed.
  • Pools are not supervised: the client is solely responsible for supervision.
  • The maximum number of guests per property must be respected.
  • Pets are allowed only with the host's written permission.
  • The client may not object to an inspection of the premises at the host's request.
  • Any behaviour contrary to public order may lead to the client's immediate departure, without compensation or refund.
  • Wifi: the free access must not be used for unlawful purposes, in particular the reproduction or distribution of protected works.

The photographs on the site are indicative; despite the care taken, variations may occur (changes of furniture, renovations).

Article 11Force majeure

Force majeure (an unforeseeable, unavoidable event beyond the parties' control) suspends the performance of mutual obligations; neither party may be held liable for the resulting non-performance. If the accommodation cannot be made available, the client is refunded the amount of their booking, with no further compensation.

Article 12Complaints and mediation

Any complaint must be made to the host within 7 days of arrival, preferably by email. Failing an amicable resolution within 30 days, the client may use consumer mediation free of charge.

Proposed mediator: Medicys (www.medicys.fr). The client may also consult economie.gouv.fr/mediation-conso and the European online dispute resolution platform ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Article 13Governing law

These terms are governed by French and European law. Failing an amicable resolution, any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the French courts.
